May be a stupid question for some, but how, by a quick look, do I tell a regular clutch pedal set-up from a H.D. one when it's not in the car?
What do I look for?
Thanks
no the bracket spans the length of, and covers the spring to stiffen the box. It is roughly 7inches long and the ends are bent over at 90* to accommodate the spring. If you didn't see it, my guess is that it's not there, cuz IDK if you can dislocate the spring with the bracket still installed. I...
Look up under the dash at the over center spring. On the light duty spring, you will easily see the full spring out in open hooked on each end. On the HD spring, the spring is "incased", is partially hidden from view by a large outer support bracket. What you don't see is that the HD pedals swing on needle bearings whereas the light duty swing on plastic bushings.
