Had steering box replaced...

Had my Dusters steering box replaced the other day. Feels much better than before, no play or slop. Only issue is when turning the steering wheel wont return back to its original position at all. When turning left it moves very slow back, but when turning right it dosnt move. I went to an empty parking lot and turned the wheel all the way to the right and did a 360 with no hands on the wheel lol I told them about it and will probably take it up next week. They suggested keep driving it and see if anything changes. Its a rebuilt box. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Other than that the steering feels pretty good.

Well, I'm not an alignment pro but it sounds like a caster issue to me.

What were the alignment specs?

could also be the worm gear adjustment is to tight if its a manual box!

Hopefully next week I'll find out. Its power steering. Maybe the box itself is bolted too tight to the pitman.

Well, I'm not an alignment pro but it sounds like a caster issue to me.

What were the alignment specs?

That would be my first thought. DO NOT allow the alignment "expert" to set these up as per factory specs, if you are running modern radial tires.
