This tile is not smooth and I did not think I was ever going to get it all off.

Know for you busted knuckles. I worked for a tile co here in town for almost three years back in the early 80's and got all of it I wanted.:-| We would use a garden tiller to mix up mud and do some big hotels and malls.
Some back braking work and you earned every penny you made.:blackeye:
But I know what you mean ! it can be a good trade,because you can see the finished job that is very satisfying.
Howdy ramcharger! Creed cut and laid the tile and I grouted it in.
