Hairline crack in my hedder tube.

I like the idea Cracked came up with about using a rubber muffler hanger. If you can get one of those that has the bracket attached to it with the u-clamp then you could attach it in the wheelwell and leave a slight gap between the clamp and header. Then when you tighten it up it would pull up slightly on the collector to relieve some of the weight. Plus it would have a little movement for the natural twist to the car when you launch it.

and TIG welded them inside and outside at the flange and collectors (just the outside of the collectors), then had em ceramic coated, they would shake violently during a burnout but was launching it off of the throttle stop so no dropping cylinders like a two step. lots of weight hanging off the rear, no supports and had zero problems with the welds. I think its all in the welding but some supports at the rear would always help out.
