…to me and my Duster. We’ve been together for 8 wonderful years! We’ve had some rough patches and she’s taken some wear and tear, but with a few body mods and upgrades, she’s just as sexy as ever!

The day she came into my life.

Yeh, Started as a Quick Hone and Re-Ring... but, You know how That goes!
That was a Thousand Dollars ago! Anybody have a Cam for it? Anybody???

Oh yea I know all to well how that goes. Do you want a factory replacement cam? Or performance cam?
 
eh, well I'm staying 2bbl, points... but going 4-Speed and Dual 2" Exhaust. So, Right In-Between...
I had Cam Bearings with the Coating Flaking Off, So I started down this rabbit hole
I got New-Old-Stock TRW Solid Lifters so far and the Cam Bearings are Replaced.
Just Honing and Cleaning now while I sniff out a cam... The Old one looks pretty tired.

No, not yet. I get my truck out of the shop next week, so I’m hoping to go pick up another door and take the Duster off the road for a little while. The more I got to looking at the door on the Duster, the more I noticed how bent the frame portion of the door is. I think my best bet is probably going to be to pull the skin off my door, straighten it as good as I can and put it on another door frame.
