I have recently picked up two 72 demons and a 71 340 4 speed to restore and have a bunch of question so thanks in advance
 
1st question is the 340 has all the correct badging original 4 speed floor 8 3/4 diff dash ser # identifies it as a slant 6, fender tag is missing. looks like a older restoration was done. Is there any body tags other than the fender, also did a slant 6 ever come with a floor shifter tks

I would be happy to answer any questions about Demons. First off the Vin number is located on the dash, drivers door, rad support, under the trunk seal and on the engine.

If the car came with the six cylinder it's vital the K member was changed to accomodate the V8. The V8 will bolt right into both frames but only the big one will pass inspection. What is the tire stud separation. It will either be 4" or 4.5", of course the 340 cars were all 4.5". The brakes were bigger as well.
