Hard starting after being driven

Noticed my scamp after warmed up when I shut it off its hard starting again. It will crank ok and sputter a few times before firing. Kinda new at this so not sure where to look or what to look for. Fuel system is dead headed fuel pump dual carb but no return. Maybe after some Q ad A I can explain it better.

Don't mean to spray bomb your threads, but some distributor curve, carb tuning, and valve-lash adjustment work would help your ol' girl get right. I'm in chat if you want to bounce something off me, been there. :blob:

how old is the gas ? is boiling when engine is turn off ?this is called "hot soak",the fuel boils in the carburetor from the heat of the engine

Gas is new. i doubt Its the carbs getting hot since there a good foot away from the motor. but It could be fuel line getting warm i bet it would have the same effect

Yes, sometimes you can even hear it. Run her hard and park in a quiet place pop the hood and listen. Or when she cools down just check the bowls for fuel.
