I'm going to replace the harness's in my 68 Dart. I'm not an expert with electrical so I need recommendations on easiest install of new wiring harnesses. Thanks in advance.
Details..
1968 Dart 500ci stroker, MSD 6AL, MSD Billet Distributor, Electric cooling fans, Trunk mounted battery.

I'd get one for a slant car. The BB and slant A body used the same harness

It is all custom so an appropriate harness(s) will need to made and fabbed. I would recommend going to an electitrcal shop to have it built if you have limited experience. There is no plug and play option for you so to say. Aftermarket is the only way is only way to go and the factory service docs will only provide limited direction. You can buy some books and reference the factory docs but if you are not very comfy about it, leave it the experts.

Does anyone have ideas on aftermarket harness suppliers?

I will agree with 1969383S to a large extent. If you aren't comfortable with electrical systems, they are nothing to mess with. You didn't say why you were replacing the harnesses. Are they bad, or did you just want to accommodate the changes from stock under your hood. Try having a local electrical expert look at it and get a quote. He may be able to fix and rewire what you have for less than replacing the harnesses AND customizing for the changes.

There is always at least one active thread here about aftermarket harness install. Seems the only thing simple/painless/easy is the brand name. Those do it yourselfers must learn how the OEM ignition switches, light switches, wiper switches, etc... were wired to work, and finger out how to make them work with the new wires. So you too would learn a lot of what you don't know today.
