Sweet fish! Where in MN was it when you bought it? I think you scored big, good price and clean car, congrats!

BTW, your Duster was cool but I have a feeling you won't miss it much with a Cuda fastback :D

The age is about right...I seen the guy I know a coupe years ago at the Mopar show here in MN and he had a dark blue early B-body for sale.

WOW! That buildsheet is in great shape. I like the white interior.

That little car is awesome!!! The paint is cleaning up just beautiful, and I know in 2 weeks that car is gonna knock us out!!

Yea, Nella really smiled when I showed her the pics, and when I asked her to put a name to it...."Goldfish"!! It really is too easy!! Keep up the great work Jim, you deserve this car!!! Geof

The paint isn't cleaning up as nice as the Duster did.I think it is just too sun baked. But atleast I am getting some shine out of it.And there alot of scratches in the paint. It will still look pretty decent. And if you know anything about cars you will be able to tell it is a original paint car.

Got it all buffed up and it looks alot better. The hood is shot and I am going to paint it.While cleaning the glass I noticed the back glass is tinted and the side windows are not.Did they tint the rear windows because they were so big? Or is this a factory mess up?

I think all 64-66 and 67-69 fastback Barracudas had tinted rear glass....I'm sure it's cause they are so big and it helps keep a little heat out.

Ok before I bought the car I asked "Is it a running driving car or a yard dring car?" The previous owner told me yes it is a running driving car but has a pretty good miss in it.He also told me it may have a flat cam. When I picked up the car it would not start the battery was too low.I bought it anyway because I have a brand new 318 on the engine stand ready to go.Well I finally got around to starting the car the other day after having the car for a week and a half.Poured a little gas down the carb and it started right up.Idled rough and was poping through the carb.I found #1 plug wire was off.Started it up again and the same miss and pop.So then I made sure all the plug wires were where there suppose to be,and they were.Took drivers valve cover off and everything appered to be OK.Then I took off the passenger valve cover and found this..................

What is this tube on the drivers side valve cover? I didn't have this on my 68 Coronet with a 318.Looks like some kind of vent tube.Is it factory or homemade?

Well that would explain the popping through the carb looks like the exhaust valve wasn't opening. Might get looking and just be the shafts hold own bolt that losened up. Nice find crangrats
