Head Bolts For TFS Heads.

-
I was able to put the heads on in the car,
But I cheeted I set the heads on first then threaded the studs in just like bolts...
Not sure if I could do that in reverse but I did use arp thread lube.
Hopefully wont have to find out!
Been great so far and I know the studs are not cheap but I feel their worth it.
Good luck on your Engine!

If you can get the studs out in the car then you can get the heads off.

Those come off in the car with the studs in the block??? That HAS to be tight!
Actually, my bad, a few driver studs are in the way at the rear in the master cylinder.

sorry people, my bad.

You can use the arp bolts or studs for W2 heads...work just fine.

I thought it had to be the W5 studs or bolts because the TF heads has all the long bolts the same length unlike the W2 and OE stuff that has the one shorter bolt in the top row???

Correct. The above head bolts are mine (sold to a member) The W5 & Magnum carry the same part number. When I get home from work I’ll try and find them. I’ll open them up for a photo shoot.

Below is a comparo of the bolts of the W5/Magnum on the left and the 2 different length of long bolts on the W2.
I have not measured these or the bolts for the TF190.
