Please give me your take on best fit with factory starter Headers to use. Looks Like we have Heddman, Hooker, Summit,Flowtech, Patriot. Trying to stay less thin 250.00 Thanks

If $250.00 is all you have to spend, stay with stock exhaust system.

Agreed.
Save up and buy Doug's or TTI.
Do not use Flowtechs, i did, and what a PITA to install they were.
The #7 tube hits the steering coupler on a power steering setup right in the middle of it.
I don't know about the others you listed.............

If people quit buying the old design headers we would be left with only tti and Doug’s . Then maybe they would become more affordable. I’ve used both flo-tech and Doug’s which I have now. I will never go back . Well worth the price.

Hedman and weld a skid plate to them. No joke.

I'm on a real tight budget (And kinda cheap). Rusty Hooker Comps came on my 72 Duster. Had a few dents on them when I got the car in 2011. The access to that rear bolt by the #7 hole is tight, but other than hitting them up with some POR15 and VHT paint, no problems so far. Was happy to find out I am able to drop the oil pan without removing them, which was a nice surprise.
