This has probably been done to death, but I wanted to know what some of you guys have used for a header gasket. I am putting headers (not sure what brand) onto a mild 318. So far I am thinking of using percys dead soft on the collector and exhaust ports, but does anyone have any other recommendations? I have seen copper ones out there, and I have a fel pro exhaust kit with gaskets for manifolds.

Stay away from Copper. They never seal. If you want the best header gasket on the market get a set of Remflex.

Remflex gaskets are the only ones I will ever use. Retorque a few times after a few heat cycles and use a fastener that won't loosen, like Stage 8.

Don't use those crappy aluminum gaskets, unless you want to do the same thing twice. I use Fel pro header gaskets.

Remflex gaskets are the way to go. I always had leaks till I installed them.

It seems like remflex is the most common answer, so i'm going to go with those. Thanks for the help, guys.
