Will the 2/4 barrel manifold off of a 225 slant 6 fit onto my 170 slant 6 that takes a 1 barell?
Still new to doing this work myself and didnt wanna jump on a expensive part that wont fit
Pictures listed is what im wanting to buy

It will fit the 170. However the carb mounting plate is missing. You will need that, and for what they are, are fairly expensive (about $79 with shipping if I remember correctly).
Also there is no provision for manifold heat. If you use a stock exhaust manifold you will need to block the exhaust where it exits the top of the exhaust manifold below the intake. Or you will need to modify the Clifford manifold so the exhaust manifold can be fastened to it (like your stock intake/exhaust). If you want to use headers (depending on the year/model vehicle) that can open another can of worms. Most headers will not fit the 170 engine in an early "A" body.

will a 225 exhaust manifold fit the 170 and work out or do you just reccomend putting a plate on top of the hole on the 170's

@Charrlie_S isn't there something about the Clifford intakes that sometimes requires a little clearancing around the ports to run with some headers or manifolds? That sticks out in my mind for some reason.

i seen somehwere the 225 header and stuff is a inch taller or lower or something like that so im not super sure

The 225(& later 198) are built on the RG tall-deck block, the 170 is built on the G short-deck block, the difference in deck height is just short of 1& 5/8". It's not that much in the vertical, but still over an inch, that simply raises both manifolds(&/or headers) that same amount together. The relationship to the hood up top, & position of the exhaust below are the real issues, that is why 225 headers hang too low on a 170 in-chassis.

Depending upon the age of the manifold, when you get the carburetor adapter from old man Clifford's son it may require some Dremel tool work to get it to fit correctly. I had one that was 30+ years old and the bolt hole for the adapter were just a hair or two off no matter which way you tried to mount it. He argued with me about it, so I made it work by slightly grinding the holes until I got it right.

Maybe check into using ''Dutra Duals''.
This would be a good upgrade at the time you convert the intake to the 4 barrel.
It would be a lot more efficient with air in and air out.
Or go to headers and modify them for ground clearance...
