After finally realizing that Harold at spitfire headers will not refund my money or send the headers that I have prepaid him for, I've decided to try my hand at building a set of headers myself. The main question is if there is any reason not to have each side in three separate pieces. In other words instead of having one header flange for all four pipes, what would the downside be to having the flange in three sections? One for the front pipe, one for the center two, and one for the rear. A setup like that and a slip on collector would be a lot easier to build. By the way, this is an early "A" with a small block.
