headers on a 440

trying to put headers on a 440 in a 69 dart with a 4 speed. I read that this can't be done? Anyone have an knowledge on this??

Have seen Schumacher headers on a 4 speed car, fenderwells will fit, proparts may fit, tti may make something.

did not buy them yet. still doing my homework on them.

I put schumachers in my 69 383-S that now has a 440+6 in it. The modification to schumacher's is very easy. I did it myself with no problem. If you don't have a welder, you could easily mock it up and have someone weld them for you.

I have put TTIs on several 383/440 builds by simply modifying the #7 tube. without the mod the tube interfers with the clutch cross-shaft

I have TTI's in my 69 440/4spd. Had to buy their Z bar too and they fit great.
