I purchased new headliner insulation for my 72 dart and there were only 2 pieces in the package. I need to know if there is supposed to be insulation for the two sides that go from the roof to the package tray area (see picture) and of there is what or where can I get it or should I use 1/2 in foam.
Thanks

Those are covered by something called a Sail Panel. I don't recall seeing replacement insulation for that area but you certainly could cut something to put there or use dynamat.

No sail panels there, he has bow/cloth type headliner. I just removed headliner from '72 Scamp and there was no insulation in that area on mine.

I did my whole roof with Kilmat. No worries about absorbing and retaining moisture and causing rust like the original or reproduction material.

We POR 15'd everything and are retrofitting in a later year one piece ( three piece with sails ) headliner.
