I admit I have been on FABO for more than a few years, and have built many old Mopars since the mid 80s, but at 76 and health issues, I am mostly old and woreout. I sold my last Mopar a month or so ago, the 62 Lancer, it found a new loving home with a guy that already had 5-6 of them!! And as 95% of the time, he drove more than a few miles to get it.
So, I listed my latest projects, 66 Ford Fairlane and 64 Merc Comet in the non Mopar sales section. Check them out if any interest in brand Z!
I have always loved learning new things, and always have loved a few Ford models, and to be honest, I grew tired of looking for decent and fair priced Mopar builders here in Texas. So I ventured out!!
I really have no idea if I will be able to go cold turkey and not ever look for another project, as long as I still draw breathe, even though I KNOW all I need now is something pretty much done. The Fiarlane is real close! I do have a 75 straight 6 AMC Hornet 99% done though for a (pretty slow ish) toy.
One day you are a snot nosed kid and the next day, well, you are getting close to the end of the trail and road. Its been quite a ride!
