Do the heater boxes swap between all A-bodys or were there changes throughout the years. For example my I want to put the AC heater box from my '76 Duster into my '68 Barracuda and the Barracudas into the Duster. Will it swap?

It MAY but you will have to drill additional holes in the firewall and you will have to use everything from the car except the switch. The 67-73 cars used a 5 button vacume switch and the later ones used a slider switch to control the a/c and heat. The actual heater box with the heater core was the same for many years and the a/c cars had a bolt on seperate box that bolted to the heater box for support via a bracket. The best thing to do is lay it all out and compare. The 67-9 cuda also uses it's own dash bezel so the switch will have to fit in the existing location. It will be a lot of work

Most everything about them changed. 72 and back, 73 and up.

63-66 One Style
66-72 Identical with the exception of the orientation of one cable bracket
73-76 Completely different animal in every respect.
