Has anyone found the correct Heater core for a 1968 Dodge Dart? The correct part has a 5/8 inlet and a 5/8 outlet. I ordered the correct part from Jegs but when it came it had a 5/8 and 1/2 fitting which is for a 1970 or newer. Jegs said they could not get the correct part, discontinued I guess and I sent it back for a refund. Not complaining about Jegs, they were easy to deal with and paid return shipping. However I am still without the part I need for my heater box rebuild. Other suppliers also give the correct description but could not verify the correct size fittings. So, I am hoping someone in the mopar world has recently purchased this heater core and can recommend a supplier with the correct part. Thanks for the help

Glen Ray Radiator. They can rebuild yours.

I just replaced the one in my Barracuda this summer. I had the same problem as you. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that this is the way they are making them now because it also fits up to 1976 with two different size hoses. I changed the fitting to the smaller size along with the hose.

The radiator shop said it was to far gone to repair so I am still looking for a quality replacement with correct fitting size
