Heater hoses

Which one is the output and which is the input, ie which connects to the manifold and which to the water pump? The FSM shows which is which on the firewall. I'm pretty sure I have it correct, but ya never know...or I never know.

Ive herd on here some people say it doesn't matter. I will have to look in my book to see what it says. i did a quick google search and didnt come up with anything.

I know there is a thread on here with engine pics search for it and i am sure you find it and that will be able to answer your question

They should be different sizes this avoids hooking them up wrong. On my Dart they are 1/2 and 5/8 the 1/2 has the control valve in the line

what year car do you have my 69 had the same sizes. maybe the heater core was messed up.

Mine were the same size also. I remember which one went where, just had that moment of doubt.
