I've been noticing a few builds where guys have been deleting the heater motor from the engine bay, welding up the hole to clean up the firewall.
My questions is regarding the retrofit. What aftermarket heater box/system is the norm being used when a delete of this nature is being preformed?

Thanks,
Ryan

from what i know, they usually delete it, and run nothing else. they drive them during warmer months, or a race on ride!

There is one out there. J-macmopar is smoothing the firewall and getting one of this aftermarket units. Thinks its cal mohave something. Just give him a shout he'll tell you.

i think it might be interesting to try and fab a custom heater box up.

Let me get this straight.....you want to remove the factory heater box and fan motor that you know will work, for an aftermarket heater box and fan motor that you don't know will fit? Just to "clean up" the firewall look? Sounds crazy to me.....is there something I'm missing?

Just looking at options to solve heater motor and 440 mopar performance valve cover clearance

Interesting.....I hadn't heard of any clearence problems on that side.
