as a continuation to another thread, I understand the HEI changeover, except what is done to the stock electronic mopar distributor. this is simply going o a 170 slant 62 lancer. stock engine, stick shift. looking for good drivability, mileage.
I have left this car back in MO, when moved to Tx and have to go back after it. never had it running, I had changed it over to a USED mopar electronic dist, new ecu , etc, and never got back to it.
I have never tried the HEI conversion and figure this old Toad would be a likely candidate. just want to get it running and drive it on the trailer and head South this fall!!
this Toad has always been a sorta hotrod, it was a pace car at a Mo dirt track, CB, flags on the fenders, etc! ha
