I'm new to the site and have a question about drag radials. I just bought a 73 dart with a 440 has caltracks and 235/60/15 Mickey Tompson drag radials. the previous owner ran 12.6 as a best time but 60ft. times were in the 1.9 to 2 second range. I am curios if a taller tire like a 275/60/15 would hook better or if I should try and go wider.

Taller tire = larger footprint.

275/60 would be both taller and wider.

What he said, thats why you see guys going wicked fast with 30x9.50x15s,just watch the effective gear ratio so you dont lose too much and you will be good, there are alot of good online calculators to help.

I'm looking at the offset shackles and front hangers to try and fit them anybody used this setup for 275/60/15.
