Are you looking for parts or information on how to do the work?

BTW: You may get more help if you are clear on what you are looking for and also, the smiley face flipping the bird may not be the way to go on your first couple of posts.

sorry i am french ,i need to buy parts but i don'understand very well rthe bore etc .... i am looking for parts i need help to buy the exact parts !

Your exact needs may vary due to the engine condition. Did you bring this engine to a machinest for inspection?

Once the blocks condition is known, pistons can be ordered. The same for the crank. Also, knowing what you want to do with it would be good as well. Are you looking to do a stock rebuild?

yes i want to do it stock i will bring every thing next week to the machinist the headers are ok i juste have to change the valves but for th engines i have to chnage the pistons and bearings.

thank you for your help

hi, a set of forged pistons for a 340 have come up on australian ebay a few times lately. used but in good nick and pretty cheap. will let you know next time i see them if you want?

A stock bore 340 is 4.040". You need the machine shop to determine how far over bore it needs to go to clean it up. Once you know that you can order pistons rings. Pay close attention to the piston's weight because the stock pistons are very heavy. Spend a little more money if you can and get some light weight pistons. It will help the engine rev faster and have less stress on the crank and rods.

Here is a Keith Black hyper pistons for a 340:
