New to the site, but not to an A body. Had my first Duster 340 back in 1971… Family, career and lots of life later, found another one. I’ll post a few pictures as well, but a work in progress.

which leads me to a question. The car was an LA built car, but originally sold in Oregon. Did the LA plant put ECS carters (4937s) on all LA built automatic 340 motors? Just wondering why an Oregon purchased car had one unless the Oregon dealer picked it up in “Calli” for some reason.

Like many back in the day, I pulled my original manifold and carb. Put an edelbrock tarantula manifold with a Holley 750 and a different cam and off to Great Lakes dragway.

looking forward to all the info on here from so many from over the years, thanks for sharing!

thanks!

Bryan
