Just joined up, this site looks like a great source of info! I just picked up a 1975 Scamp with a Road Runner 383 in it. I'm currently doing an alternator upgrade, cooling upgrade, stereo, and a little electrical refit. Gotta get ready for a memorial cruise this weekend. Look forward to seeing all your projects!

Welcome aboard...to us old Mopar nuts I never even knew what a Scamp was. Then I went to visit Moparker and he has a fine example of a Scamp. Sometimes it's all about what you grow up with and what's familiar to a guy. After visiting Moparker I started noticing them. That's a great looking ride. Good luck with your project.

It's got the A833. 3rd gear synchro is a little slow too. Probably need to scatter the tranny pretty soon for some fresh parts.
