long story short......my parents had a blue 69 Roadrunner when i was a kid (daily driver). i loved that car. in 1985 Hurricane Gloria swept through Massachusetts and split a pine tree in our yard and crushed the car. all growing up i saw that car in the backyard with a tree on top of it. while i was away at college and my sister was caring for my dad, she sold the car WITHOUT TELLING ME! he passed away in 2019 and i was pretty sad that all his memories were gone.....he bought that car when he returned home from Vietnam. skip ahead to 2022 (last June) after years of searching for his car....or one i could afford myself (impossible)....God put a situation in front of me that was just too good to pass up and frankly still unbelievable to me. 4.5 hours north of me i befriended a wonderful couple who were "getting too old to drive their mopar". it was a 1969, same blue my dad had. only catch was it was a Roadrunner clone.......beautifully done with all the correct emblems and decals. but it was running and driving and they sold it to me and my daughters for $8000 cash!!! im in love and have thanked God every day since we brought it home. it even has the correct horn which my girls use constantly in the yard (poor neighbors). we added chrome centerline wheels just like my dad had, cleaned the motor up a bunch (318) and we proudly bring my dad along for every ride because i have his dog tags on my key ring and his original Plymouth jacket folded in the center of the front seat.

My first Mopar, around 71, was a 69 383 4 speed, don't remember the paint code, silver grey, and vinyl top. Had the factory "Magnum 500" wheels or whatever they were called.
