I'm new to this site but not to Mopars and some other Mopar sites. I have been visiting FABO from time to time as a quest and found some great info here. Noticed theat some members here are also familiar from other Mopar sites and still around. This site seems to be the most active Mopar site at the moment so I wanted to join too.

Regards from Finland, winter is coming so it's time to spend more hours in the workshop.

Welcome to the site.

I enjoy hearing about the hobby in Europe. You are a very dedicated group of people.

Welcome aboard Mecki , i agree, ive checked out many other Mopar sites and i am a member in a few of them to but none have the activity and membership that this one dose and although it's membership is primarily North American it has a lot of international members to with interesting rides and great input for the site. Speaking of which what Mopars, ( vehicles ) do YOU have?:canada:

Wow, what a tag line! Lol, i hope your kidding, if not I'll make sure to scratch a visit to there off my travel list!
Nope. Detroit and Chicago swap back and forth every couple of years. I even have a license plate frame from about 40 years ago saying it. Had it on my car for many years.

I was a member of Moparchat. 15 years ago it was very active and then it just died. I assume many of the members from those days are still around here. I recognize some names from that site.

My cars are still the same I had back then: -68 Fury III 4D 318, -70 Duster waiting for a 440, -71 Dart Custom 4D 318, -72 New Yorker 2D 440, -77 Monaco STV 360 and a pile of 318s, a couple 440s, 727 and 906 transmissions and some other junk.

Yes if you like winter and snow. Not too crowded and plenty of nature if you don't live in southern Finland. Summer is always too short though.
Also if you like sauna, lonkero and blondes!
I grew up in a small town in New York State that had a high concentration of Finnish immigrants and their descendants who held tight to some of the finer aspects of their culture.
Welcome aboard!

Wow, what a collection, that's more than many North American Mopar fans have! That stuff is relatively easy to find here but how the hell did you come to collect that much Mopar stuff over there? Is Mopar a big thing there or did you import most of it? Just curious.

Only the NewYorker is imported later from Kentucky. It's an all original survivor with 73k miles on the meter. The other are all sold new here in Finland and served as daily drivers still in the 90s. The Duster, Fury and Dart came to us in the 80s. Mopars were quite popular here in the 60s and 70s compared to other US made cars, especially Valiant and Dart with slant and manual. Now days those cheap a-bodies are rare, most of them have been scrapped. Also the weather and rust has taken care of most Finland sold cars from that era.
