Hey Everyone,

I just brought home a 71 H Code Duster. This is the same car (not his) that I can remember my dad having when I was really little. I am looking forward to embarking on my first Mopar resto journey. I obviously have my dad to lean on for some of the old school info but I am looking forward to gaining the up to date knowledge from this site!

I have a pretty blank canvas to work with as it was a drag car in it's former stage. Lots of parts need acquired to make it street again but can't wait to tear into it! I could use lots of suggestions.

Have a great end of the week.

Dustin

I will definitely add pics once I get the opportunity. I am hoping that will be this evening.

Ok, here are some pics after I got it situated in the garage last night. Long road in front of me but will be a great time!

I was also given a bunch of small block goodies. 4 sets of untouched J/O heads. 2 sets of Eagle forged H beam rods, 2 sets of JE SRP forged 4” pistons, 1 set of factory 340 rods/pistons, 3 904 trans. Needless to say I have enough to get it on the road as soon as I find a block.

And yes, I need jack stands. They are packed away someplace in the basement as we moved 3 weeks ago.

Are you looking to keep all the race car goodies, roll cage, narrow axle, etc. Or looking to bring her back to her former glory.

Kick,

The roll cage, fire extinguisher and B&M shifter, large tach w shift light as well as ignition panel will definitely be removed only thing staying is the rear end

Also the seat belts and Centerlines will be going away.
