Hello all this is my return to the mopar rehlm last mopar i built was a 69 road runner with 383 i built the motor too much and it tore the runner in two off the line back in the late 80's in alaska.. any how i have 2001 dodge dakota 4x4 slt with blown 5.2 evrrything else is great on this (paid $300 for it) and have a 78 360 out of a old 1 ton tow truck. 1 ( can i use this engine in the dakota and 2 ( can i use the intake from the 5.2 on this la engine 3 ( can i swap the heads intake from the 5.2 to the 360 . Will the older 360 work with the new trans? I know i can pick up newer 360s for fairly cheap but like the idea of the stronger bottom end out of the old 360..besides the older engine is free i have had it many years ( but start it and run it every few months) any help would be appreciated...thks
