Nice to join the community here! I have a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger which was my first car I bought in high school (in 2000) and remains in mostly original condition (original 198 slant six, 3-speed column shift transmission, paint). Its a driver that I enjoy taking to work and church once a week or so. Hoping to find a few parts here and make connections in the SoCal area.

:welcome: from :canada:

Very clean looking Dart, and it's f8 green too! The only way to make it better is if it was a 70. (Well, ok a stout small block Mopar would be a great idea too)

What part of San Diego? I was in the Navy, 68-74, spent 4 years, 70-74, at (then) NAS Miramar, maintaining GCA RADAR and TACAN. Bought a 69 383 4 speed RR down there, and my 70 440-6 RR from a friend. Wish I had either/ both today!!
The then Miramar tower, no longer there

Me, I don't know, 71-73?

The 70 before it was mine, with my old friend the original owner. We are both radio amateurs, at the time, I was at Miramar, he was on a dry docked ship in Long Beach. We had been out to Lions where he trophied in pure stock

Very cool - great photos! I live in La Mesa, but I work out on Point Loma for what is now called Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) - it was probably called NOSC back when you were down at Miramar.

Cool! More Navy guys... I was stationed at Coronado Amphib Base... Starting in 77...
