Hello Mopar Fans

Name is Andrew, and I am a Newbie to For A Bodies Only from the great State of Aizona. I started a membership about 4 months ago just never introduced myself (sorry). I am a new owner of a 1974 Plymouth Scamp, with a slant 6. I love this car I made sure I did not make the same mistake as I did with the last A body I bought the Dodge Dart 1975. The car turned out to have a lien, and now I will be using the car for parts for my Scamp.
I live in Arizona and own 3 Mopars, and 1 parts car. Got a 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T, 2009 Dodge Charger R/T, 1974 Plymouth Scamp, and 1975 Dodge Dart parts car.
I love Mopar muscle and the muscle car era. I love muscle cars so much my oldest daughter is named after my favorite muscle car, Chevelle.

Thanks for viewing

My plans for the Scamp are to get the puppy going as my daily driver. It runs great now just need to get engine tuned up just right before I sale my work truck. Also I plan on using my 318 from my parts Dart and putting it in the Scamp. But as I driving the slant 6 it has great power, I was able to keep up with traffic on I-10 going 75. So as of now I have no complaints on the 225 slant 6.

nice car. i have a 74 dart swinger with the slant six. my engine doesn't look as nice as urs though. good to have ya aboard. come into the chat room later this eve and i'll see ya there. lots of good people there. talk to ya later, mike -

A 225 in a Scamp is a nice daily driver. I love the simplicity. Easy maintenance.
Welcome.

Welcome from another Scamp lover! I have a '75 with originally 225/904/7.25, with plans for a 383/727/8.75.

Yeah, sorry to see your old dart go out like that, oh well. Good to see your making the best of the situation. Looks like it had a/c at one time, you may want to put that back in, living in AZ and all. There are heater boxes w/ controllers for the 73+ floating around here for dirt cheap if your parts car doesn't have it. You might be able to find the rest of the parts on here too, or at least the key ones.

Welcome aboard. Good looking car to start with. The front of the house reminds me when I was staying out in New Mexico the front lawns don't exist. A few stubs, some rocks, some rocks and its done. But put together really nice. One big benefit, no need for a lawn mower.
