I purchased a '72 340 Duster at the end of the season last year. I am in the Northeast United States so there are only about six to seven months that are practical for driving a Muscle Car. I took our Duster out of storage this year and have been working the kinks out. The former owner advertised it as a 3 year old restoration. But, really it was not finished. The first car I remember riding in was my dad's '73 Duster. That had a 318 in it, but it was our families daily driver. So, I am glad that we found our Duster as it is pretty much the car that I have wanted for almost 40 years. I chose the user name of ProDuster because I intend to continue upgrading our Duster to be a Pro-Touring Muscle Car that is and will be incredible fun to drive and cruise in with the family.

Welcome to FABO! Know what you mean about the 6 to 7 months, lately that is if the darn weather cooperates! Sounds like a pretty nice Duster you got there, got any pics to show us?

I do have some pictures to share. I just added the avatar so it will show on all of my posts and I added that same pic to my gallery. There will be more pictures in the near future. It is getting a six pack hood in about a week so I will have to change my avatar when that happens.

Thank you for the messages. I plan to read through more of the forums and check out pics of other member's rides soon.

I went out for almost 3 hours tonight with my Duster. My 16 year old daughter rode along with me. It is hard to get her to spend quality time with her dad at this point. Anyone who has been through the teenage years with a child knows what I mean. It was great to cruise in the Duster do some burnouts, throw it into a few corners as hard as I dare, and even blow away a few other drivers that wanted to mess with me. I do still have some leaks that I have to resolve though, but it was a fun cruise.
