Hey guys hoping one of you can help me out.

I am just finishing a 67 dart GT convert and was getting ready to install the trim around the back of the convertible top that was supposedly rechromed by the previous owner. Well apparently the Chromer that did the work must have been blind because these things are terrible. Bubbles and pits in the chrome and then to make things worse they ground on them so much they changed the profile of them. Have been told they can be fixed but will take a ton of work to redo them.
Hoping someone can point me to a set of the rear convertible transition pieces at the corners, kind of L-shaped pieces.

Also what years do these fit I assume 67-69 dart anything else that I can be looking for?

Thanks in advance guys I appreciate it.

I can tell you that the Barracuda 1967-1969 is different from the Dart so they will do you no good.

my original transition pieces were ruined by the chromer too for the same reason. They were OK but not what I wanted. I ended up with a second set and had rechromed came out great.

I sold the ones I had to a guy I knew and he was happy with them.

As far as I know they are not repoped

One thing when working with one year only or in this case 3 model years in low production that the shop you hand them over to does the quality work on hard to replace.

I also had the trim that goes above & below the rear finish panel ruined several years ago. Had hunted for years for 4 good pieces, and turned them over to a guy that I thought would do what he said, WRONG, got back 4 nice looking pieces of crap that I cannot use.

In building my car I bought from a guy I worked with a lot of convertible parts for a car that had been parted out years before. Bought a 68 Dart convertible and I used a lot of parts from it (bought for the boot trim on the back seat), sold the car then seen it on Ebay as a project car.

Sorry for the bad luck but you will find that more the common than exception

laysons had repopped the 4 pot metal pieces-- for the darts not sure on quality see if rick on this site has any info ,Lawrence

I've got a pair that need to be rechromed. They do have some pits, but could be restored. I'd like $100 plus shipping for them.

I called laysons and they are out of stock. Jim I sent you a pm could you send me some pictures of yours.

Yeah, I'll get pics today. I was helping my son out with stuff on their new house yesterday and then out to dinner for his birthday.
