What is the best suspension set up for pro touring driving with out changing K member Thankx A-arms shocks sway bar ????
 
real good set of shocks, lightening the front end as much as possible (aluminum intake manifold/ heads / waterpump / AC delete / headers can also cut some weight), moving battery to trunk, widest tires you can fit without rubbing (taller tires will slow you down however, more rotating weight), you want disc brakes, for sure. aluminim wheels instead of steel.

a lot of it depends on how much money you can put into it. hotchkis has a lot of stuff that can help, the cost is not too exorbitant.

i think the RMS front kits are cheaper than magnumforce but they do cost thousands and they also get you with the options.
 
Thank you MOPARLOVER for info can't read private message computer keeps blocking it.I have had car for 15 years. It has 340 with a 4 speed 8.75 rear 17 inch wheels ,headers ,intake,manual steering no ac.
 
Hey guys one other problem you might be able to help me with. The driver side front tire rubs on the front of the fender in one spot when turning for a second parked or driving. I figured it was the tire size then found this great site this week and see people running 18s. THANKX again for any info and your time

What is the exact width, diameter, and backspacing of you rims and what size tire do you have on there?

Sounds like you need to cut or fold back the bottom front fender lip edge. That or run more backspacing or small diameter tires.
 
Probably hitting the lip on the bottom, of the inside of the fender.
I used a cut-off wheel. Take a piece of tape and make a straight line. Cut it off with the cut-off wheel. Add a little touch up paint. You would never know it was there.
 
In short, how is a tubular Lower Control Arm going to help this clearance?

That a pretty tall front tire combo for an A-body, 26.75". Must run more than stock 4.25" backspacing to get it to fit. Like 5.0" backspacing or more.
