Well I finally got the drivers side hub off

I get two turns and a bit over a half on the shaft and one turn
on the axle.
I have not took the pig out yet to see what gear this posy is.

Is this a 3.23 gear???

Closer to 2 3/4 to one at the tire.

I agree with everone memike, sounds like you have a set of freeway flyers. Im gonna say 2:76 as well. My parts car has them in its 7 1/4. Its a /6 car & I was surprised at how it would scoot from a dead start. Nothing to call impressive mind you, but for a /6 car with 100K+ miles on it, I think it could hold its own on the highway.

Look at it this way. You'll be able to run 100mph down the highway all day long!!

I think this rear end was made for some Mopar power Geeezz.#-o
Look at those springs,
I was hoping on 3.23,. There goes my 60' time.:sad3:

3.55 gear and a revving 170 low deck at 2.700 lb's was the plan.
But all of that will come later.

But with a taller gear I could hit the hwys better and get better gas mileage
Witch is a plus. the heavier springs might be a little tight for a good ride in the 66valiant compared to a heavey big block barracuda.

Thanks for your help :-D
