Well there is a good points system in my 170 /6 and it douse work well.
But for my first mod I would like to go to electronic ignition

I am hoping someone here can steer me in the right direction to replace it
with a electronic system. with instructions to change the 66 / over.

So with that being said, Where and what kind should I do the job I can install myself. This will be my first upgrade on Victoria.
This will be a simple and easy install for me

Thanks again for your time and help. I just want to make sure I don't get a bad system and I can see there are allot of members here that has dun this and it will help my /170 down the road .

Time to do more than drive it and wash it and start upgrades know that I have drove it over 700 miles, the oil is staying on the full mark.:-D

Hi Memike,
A cheap and simple solution is the Ignitor - it replaces the points with newer electronics and keeps the original cap. Bought one from a guy on eBay for $60 brand new a few months ago.

Same here but I put a pertronix under the cap(not sure if its the same) and it went very easy. No problems and its been about 2 years. P.S. I never did get a price on the headers but picked up a set of dual cliffords for about $180.00. If you get any leads on a intake (4 bbl) Im intrested. Thanks & good luck. Dean

I sure will Dean!! Congrads on the headers man.:thumleft:
I am all fixed up, pertronix is a good system and some what cheaper.
BUT!! I had to go the extra mile and add the new dist, and new kit
for Vikey! All mopar and I will enjoy the install.:love7:
And grumpuscreature gave me the two choices and I thought Vicky
deserved a good mopar system so I could enjoy the install.
I also picked up the electronic voltage reg.
Thanks to some great advice from grumpuscreature.:salut:

Thanks David.
