TGIF MOPAR Fans!

I'm looking at purchasing this 1970 440 block to build. The owner said it was taken out of a 70 Challenger.
The info stamped into the pad is as follows;
F440 V
11 7
A
HP2

I have been able to decode the obvious, 1970 440 built in Nov of 1970, or at least that's what I believe, but what else do you "old salts" see here???

Thanks and have a great weekend!

HP2 I believe is High Performance, should be some other stampings on the block

11/7/69 build for a 1970 challenger. What does the Vin stamp say/look like? (Just above the oil pan rail on the side of the block, passenger side, I think).

How could one tell that it was built for a Challenger out of curiosity?

Actually, I meant for a 70, not necessarily a challenger.
The Vin stamp will tell what plant built the car, and then you can get a better idea what it might have come out of. It will look something like 0Bxxxxxx, 0 being year, B being assy plant, xxxxxx the last six numbers of the Vin.

What you think is a V is likely an upside down week A. See the other A in the same orientation. I see the A on lots of blocks of that era, and I believe that is an inspector's mark.
