HELP Forum Question regarding Attached Images

HELP....

I log in to read a thread on the forum and it shows that someone's post have images attached and I can view these images if I click on them to download them, anyway for the images to automatically load when you load the thread so I do not have to manually click on each attached image to view it ??

some work like that and some don't - the ones that don't, wont
 
a couple of months ago, april, I think
it seems most (but not all) of the pictures uploaded before the change over show up as links, while some show up as pictures

I don't know if the mods went through certain sticky threads and made sure those pictures show or not
