Help! I need a good mechanic!

secure a can of gas in the eng bay & run it with a 5/16" neoprene hose to the pump inlet (cap the fuel line neoprene hose) & retry it & that will quickly elim everything fuelwise rearward from the pump & take her back out. I feel like I am missing something but that'd be where I'd start on this
