A tec will jump on this very soon, let me welcome you to this great site.
me not much of a tec if it's not in my early A body books.
I will give the 4th picture a good guess, brake line holder/keeper.

Looking at the third picture another guess but first was this a 3 or 4 speed standard trans car ?

#2 3 holes for inside pegs that hold insulation
#4 Small upper hole fuel line clip others nothing
#5 nothing 7 nothing 6 side og shift linkage cross bar
#8 speedo cable

Thank you CudaJunction, I learned long ago to leave these threads to the pro's but I seem to can't leave them alone

it was a slant six auto on the column with a/c

#1 is about the size of a quarter and right above the passenger side of the trans tunnel.

Hole 7 is for a Z-bar if you have a manual trans.

#1 is on the other side.

Don't the holes for the insulation pegs have the beveled area?
#2 and #3 dont have that

#1 does not look factory.
Everything else has been explained correctly as far as i know.
Maybe #1 was for an aftermarket shifter cable?

number one deffinatly is not stock, usually in that area is hang on a/c factory or aftermarket....I would bet on drain hole for aftermarket a/c...........

#1 is a/c drain from Evaporator (keeps water from a/c leaking on floor). rest as stated or n/a for application ie: Manual trans etc.

Drain for the heater/ac box to release water and candensation. Keeps it from the inside of car. My 73 340 non air duster unmolested has the hole aswell as my 1974 dart swinger air car

1# is excactly where I have my shifter cable hole on my Duster . Cabls are so long they heve to be routed over the bell from the right to left.

Thanks Guys,

I did say that is was an A/C car, what I forgot to say was the hole was resized and the twin hose holes were plugged.

#1 looks like a good spot to run the cable for my B&M shifter.

Thanks for the help
