Those are lower support braces from engine to tranny/bellhousing.

Engine to transmission braces.(underneath)

So one side mounts on engine and other side to trans bell house?

yes sir
but chances are if your running headers they will not clear
I know I had to remove mine when I installed the dougies

One for each side. Its been awhile for me so its hard to describe. Yes one end on the engine and one on the tranny.

Kind of tough to put back But IMO good idea, Ma mopar put the for a reason. MT

I was able to use the passenger side with headers, but not the drivers side.
One is better than none, as they help keep the bell housing from cracking from stress.

There should be a threaded hole near the back on both sides of the block just above the oil pan. Then there is a spare hole down low on the bellhousing on each side. The brackets mount there and they are different side to side.

I can't find my pics :banghead:

That was the idea, buy really, how many 10 second smallblock cars do you see running those. :) All the ones I've ever had I've sold to resto guy's.
