These are the first plugs to come out of the new build, after about 50 miles of around town cruising.

Specs:
‘70 340
.030 over
X-Heads
kB 243 pistons
Comp 268h cam
HEI Ignition
Doug’s D453’s
Quickfuel Brawler 650cfm
Timing set at 12 initial, 32 all in
Plugs are Champion RN9YC

Any experienced opinions welcomed!!

You need to take better pictures. Need to see as much porcelain as you can get and close ups of the ground wire for starts.

At your compression ratio I think the 9 is a bit cold. I'd use the RC12YC but only after some better pictures.

I’ll get some better pictures up as soon as the work schedule will allow.

Take a cut off wheel and cut at the black line through the crimp, not into the porcelain, then pull the porcelain out. It shows everything.
