Help rear disk brake tab

hello everyone. I finally got the new rear end in. However, the disk brake tab for the brake lines are directly in the way of the rear shock. is there a work around or do I have to cut the tab off and move it. If so, which direction should it go? I was wondering if I turned the spring perches around and switched sided of the shocks.

Cut the bracket shorter, since you have a good inch of extra there.

I would just shorten the mount. at least it looks possible. but you can move it. Those would be my 2 solutions.

I would, but the shock isn't fully pushed into the on the perch. It still needs to go into it about 1". It's going to be right on the axle housing, maybe 1/2" away

Cut it and move it on top if the rubber line permits. Went through the same thing when I put disks on my 8 1/4
