I also bought the Mancini bracket kit and it fit the pump in the block perfectly. But there’s no adjustment?
my question was am I running the correct pump and or pully?Get a longer belt.
Thank you, similar to a tensioner on a serpentine system! Appreciate it!View attachment 1715794012
Loosen the two bolts circled in red. Insert a ratchet (or breaker bar) into the square hole circled in green and pivot the assembly up or down to tighten or loosen the belt. Retighten bolts.

I know it is a saginaw, its a 340 and it was in pieces before I built the car. I have a formula to calculate the length then I found a Gates site for belt lengths, just a PIA.There isn't a correct pump. Chrysler would use TRW, Federal, and Saginaw pumps on Dodge, Plymouth, or Cryrsler. Your pics show saginaw pump (ovalneck). You need the correct length belt for that pump.
I don't have a clue WTF you are working on so I can only tell you what I know... Aftermarket will sell you a lower radiator hose that is too short. Shoove it all the way up to stop on the water pump and PS hose will cut a hole in it.
Red fish, that would be awesome! Hopefully out crank pulleys are the same size? I'll measure my crank pulley diameter and that number would be great! ThanksI have same pump and pully on my 67 model 273. I could quote the belt number from the card in my console later today if it helps

I love this site and these members!

The 340 must be larger than 273 at the crank. SorryAwesome

I have 17420 way too short
Well I guess it’s back to trial and error! LOL
