Having a hard time finding a complete 8.75 rear for my 1971 Scamp 440
and how hard to make a B body rear fit in this car any help please

Want a rear with BBP, find a rear from a 65-67 B. It's the closest to the A body in overall length with the right axles. Move perches in 1/2" on each side and go. If you wanted to go hillbilly, slot the existing perches for the difference.
the b body adds about 1 1/2" per side depending on year of b body 66-67 being the narrowest of them.offset wheels can get the tire back in but you may find a limited selection of wheels and the extra wheel offset effects the loading on the axle bearings. i can make you a correct length housing but you have to know what brakes you want to use a body,b-e body as the axles are diffrent offsets. call if i can help with info {please use the PM feature to exchange phone numbers}.paul
