help with tire width

i would like to find out what is the widest tire i can mount on 14"- 4" small bolt pattern original rallye rim i think it is 5" wide it is on my 73 dusterjust trying to find out how wide i can go and it still fit on rim, thanks

I had 205R70s on my 72 with the 5.5 wide rally,wouldn't put much bigger on it.

I have been told by a tire guy that those rims will handle a 225 70 R14 tire. I'll find out later this summer when I buy them.
