Help!

I just changed the heads, intake and carb on my '74 318. now she's missing and backfiring out of the intake. adjusted the distributer, re-did the wiring, and now it wont fire up. Any information as to what could be the problem and solution would be awesome

Still sunds like wires.You didn't get the distributor in backwards did you? Bring her up on compression stroke on No1 cyl. The dist rotor shoud be pointing ahead not back.

oh ok, we had the no.1 wire at the back
