hemi hood scoop

i recently put a fiberglass hemi hood scoop on my duster. it didnt come with the metal supports that go in the opening. i bought it used. what can i use to support it? when i get to highway speed it moves a bit and im afraid itll break. thanks.

Get some tube, either aluminum or steel, at your local hardware store. Drill the top of the scoop and the hood and use flat-profile head machine screws down through the scoop, through the tube, and through the hood. Washers, lockwashers, and nuts on the bottom side of the hood. All done!

i used the chrome water pipe that goes up from the floor to a commode tank. and carrage head bolts. worked GREAT
