Does anybody know the exact size and type (assume NPT) the threads are for the remote oil lines on the new hemi blocks?

Cheers, Dave.

I found the NPT fittings I originally used were borderline not long enough. They threaded so deep that the flats started hitting the block. I almost think they might be an ORB (o-ring boss) fitting since it looks like there's a bit of a counterbore on the top of them. Either that or I just needed longer fittings. I guess they just used a standard hex head plug though, so they probably are NPT and I just needed a longer fitting.

I have noticed a few guys have said they are running 1/2 or -8AN lines for their remote oil filter setups. Is there any benefit to this? Wouldn't the flow be limited by the smallest point ie. the 3/8's (-6 AN) connection on the block so there would be no advantage in running a bigger line?

Here is what I am looking at ordering (I have based my order on others using -8AN line), from Engine block to remote oil filter: If I have missed anything, feel free to chime in as I've never ordered anything with these fittings.....
